STEPHANIE DULEY LMHC
Stephanie is a licensed mental health counselor with 14 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults and couples. She previously maintained a successful private practice in Portland, Maine, before relocating to Southern Florida. Stephanie takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, psychoeducation, and EMDR when appropriate. While she is a generalist practitioner, she has additional training in the treatment of eating disorders, trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Master’s in Clinical Counseling from the University of Southern Maine, establishing a strong foundation for her career in mental health.
About Stephanie
I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 15 years of experience as a psychotherapist. Since 2009, I have primarily worked with adults and couples while also gaining experience with adolescents and groups. My expertise includes addressing issues related to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, as well as specialized training in working with individuals dealing with eating disorders and trauma-related disorders, including PTSD. I am trained in EMDR, an evidence-based approach particularly effective for trauma and other complex challenges.

My practice is grounded in identifying and building upon clients' strengths to foster growth and achieve positive outcomes. I employ an integrative approach that incorporates CBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic techniques, and psychoeducation to create pathways for personal development and improved functioning. Change can happen at different paces, but I firmly believe it is always possible.

I also emphasize the importance of self-care, both in treatment and in my own life. I encourage clients to focus on foundational areas like nutrition, sleep, connection, and hobbies to cultivate balance and well-being. Personally, I find renewal through playing tennis, guitar, singing, and painting. My love of sunshine and the ocean is part of what drew me to Florida, where I now practice.
